The New Cannaan Police Department said Angel Arroyo, of Saint Cloud, Florida, located just south of Orlando, surrendered himself to police on an active warrant on Thursday, Aug. 12.
NCPD said investigators determined Arroyo was responsible for the identity theft, which was reported to police on Jan. 29.
He is facing several charges, including third-degree identity theft.
His court appearance was set for the same day of his arrest, police said.
